Father-Son Look-alike Contest
Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Eligibility: Subject to the additional restrictions below, the "Father Son Look-alike” contest is open to Connecticut residents. Employees of the Republican-American, hereinafter referred to as “Sponsor” and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win.
How To Enter: Submit a photo for the "Father Son Look-alike” using the entry form at www.rep-am.com/fatherson beginning 12:01 a.m. EST on June 15, 2014, through 12 p.m. (noon) on July 12, 2013. Completely fill out the entry form and submit your photo. Photos must be submitted in JPG or GIF format. All photos must be submitted through www.rep-am.com/fatherson or mail your picture along with your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address to: Father-Son Look Alike Contest, Republican-American, P.O. Box 2000, Waterbury, CT 06722-2000. Only one photo may be submitted per Father-Son entry.
Photos received will be placed on an online ballot, which will be available on
www.rep-am.com starting June 15, 2014 through July 12, 2014.The voting period will begin at 12:01 a.m. on June 22, 2014, and end at 11 p.m. on July 12th, 2014.
Restrictions: Multiple entries by means of software generated or other automated processes will be disregarded. Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted shall be determined by Sponsor in their sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest.
Participation: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor. In the event the contest is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest. Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
Disclaimer: By participating, Entrants (or any parent or guardian of Entrant) further acknowledge and agree that the Sponsor and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates and the officers, employees, representatives and agents of each will not be liable for losses, injuries, or damages of any kind resulting from the acceptance, possession, publication, or use of any information or activity related to participation in the contest, including but not limited to any contest prize, travel to and from any contest-related activity, erroneous contest announcements or printing, mailing or distribution errors, or any combination thereof, or for any entries that are not in compliance with these Official Rules.
Winner Selection: Winners will be determined by the number of votes received online.
To be eligible to vote for an entrant in the contest, one must register as a voter at
www.rep-am.com; registration will be at no cost.
The top vote-getters during the contest period will be awarded a choice of one of the following prizes. The contestant with the most votes gets to choose first, and then the chosen prize is removed from the prize pool. The contest with the second highest votes then chooses their prize and that prize is removed from the prize pool, then the third, forth, etc etc until all of the prizes are claimed.

Winner Notification and Acceptance: Winners will be notified by email using the email address on the entry form on Monday July 14th after their selection. Sponsor will call during its regular business hours at the phone number provided on the entry form and is not required to leave any message. Failure to reach winner by phone may result in disqualification of winner, forfeiture of his or her interest in all prizes, and selection of a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entries.
Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes, title, license and services fees. Winner automatically permits the use of their name, address and photo for Republican American promotional purposes.
Sponsor: The "Father -Son Look-alike” contest is sponsored by Republican-American. The decisions of Sponsor regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the contest.
