Mother-Daughter Look-alike Contest

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

Eligibility: Subject to the additional restrictions below, the "Mother-Daughter Look-alike” contest is open to Connecticut residents. Employees of the Republican-American, hereinafter referred to as “Sponsor” and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win.

How To Enter: Submit a photo for the "Mother-Daughter Look-alike” using the entry form at www.rep-am.com/mother_daughter beginning 12:01 a.m. EST on April 1, 2013, through 12 p.m. (noon) on May 15, 2013. Completely fill out the entry form and submit your photo. Photos must be submitted in JPG or GIF format. All photos must be submitted through www.rep-am.com/mother_daughter or mail your picture along with your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address to: Mother-Daughter Look Alike Contest, Republican-American, P.O. Box 2000, Waterbury, CT 06722-2000. Only one photo may be submitted per mother-daughter entry.

Photos received will be placed on an online ballot, which will be available on
www.rep-am.com starting May  12, 2013 through May 31, 2013. The voting period will begin at 12:01 a.m. on May  12, 2013, and end at 11 p.m. on May 31, 2013.

Restrictions: Multiple entries by means of software generated or other automated processes will be disregarded. Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries. All entries become property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted shall be determined by Sponsor in their sole discretion, and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest.

Participation: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor. In the event the contest is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest. Should the contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.

Winner Selection: Winners will be determined by the number of votes received online.
To be eligible to vote for an entrant in the contest, one must register as a voter at www.rep-am.com; registration will be at no cost.

The top vote-getters during the contest period will be awarded a choice of one of the following prizes. The contestant with the most votes gets to choose first, and then the chosen prize is removed from the prize pool. The contest with the second highest votes then chooses their prize and that prize is removed from the prize pool, then the third, forth, etc etc until all of the prizes are claimed.

 Winner Notification and Acceptance: Winners will be notified by email using the email address on the entry form on Tuesday, June 1st after their selection. Sponsor will call during its regular business hours at the phone number provided on the entry form and is not required to leave any message. Failure to reach winner by phone may result in disqualification of winner, forfeiture of his or her interest in all prizes, and selection of a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entries.

Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes, title, license and services fees. Winner automatically permits the use of their name, address and photo for Republican American promotional purposes.

Sponsor: The "Mother-Daughter Look-alike” contest is sponsored by Republican-American. The decisions of Sponsor regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the contest.
